Industrial safety and health policy

The Industrial Safety and Health Policy of Zakłady Magnezytowe Ropczyce S.A. is an element that aids realization of our Company’s strategy and is aimed at assurance of continual improvement of working conditions and safety.

Exhibiting our care for our employees, as well as for the persons present in the premises of our Company, we assume the obligation to:

  • prevent industrial accidents and occupational diseases
  • minimize the harmfulness and onerousness of work-places
  • implement safe techniques and technologies
  • perfect work organization and conditions
  • observe legal regulations and the principles of work safety and hygiene.

We implement the above policy through:

  • identification of potential hazards and assessment of risks in work-places
  • systematic examination and monitoring of the working environment conditions
  • organization of work-places according to the requirements of legal regulations in the area of work safety and hygiene, as well as its ergonomics
  • supplying workers with individual protection equipment suitable for their type of work
  • assurance of effective realization of periodic plans for the improvement of working conditions
  • systematic raise of qualifications of our employees
  • involving our employees in activities to promote work safety and hygiene.
